Francesco Pesce

Francesco joined ECCO as Food Science & Regulatory Associate in October 2023. Prior to joining ECCO, Francesco worked in the Food Ingredients and Packaging Unit of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), dealing with food enzymes and contributing to the development of the Food Enzyme Intake Model (FEIM). Previously, Francesco worked in the product development team of an Italian food company and in the research and development department of a global confectionery company. Francesco holds master’s degrees in Agriculture and Food Science and is fluent in English and Italian.
